Finding a use for pineapple peels has not been easy. So when I found out that they were the key ingredient in tepache, I was super excited!

All you need is:

1 pineapple, ripe
3/4 to 1 cup of brown sugar, sugar, or maple syrup
About 6 cups of water

You can also REGROW PINEAPPLES just from the pineapple top!

COMMON SENSE WARNING: NEVER mix methanol, isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, or pure ethanol into any drink! It's extremely toxic!
